I'm not going to get stuck out in the middle of Utah or the wilds of the Yukon with dead batteries and not a working cellphone or a plug in within a thousand miles.
Imagine on a trip anywhere and a traffic accident up the road and its 1110 degrees. Batteries get low or down and miles for any facilities.
Imagine on a trip you reach the 600 mile charge limit or through the mountains a lot sooner and a campground nowhere near or is booked up. A one day drive now takes two or three.
Most people will need to see these changes in action before they are acceptable.
