Some of the little things you like/dislike about your DP?

Our first DP, and first motorhome in decades.

Likes -
Room - tons of room
Ride
Basement storage and huge tray
Large rear bathroom + half bath
Corner TV fireplace
Gas cooktop
Diesel generator

Dislikes -
No dishwasher
Coleman Mach 8 ACs (noisy)
Cold tile floor
Schwintek on street side slides
Bedroom TV looks like an afterthought
Almost all basement cabinets require crouching under slide

The one I use all of the time and it did not even make my "like to have" list is the remote basement lock/unlock on the keyless entry and on a fob, although I rarely use the fob. Nice to be able to lock and unlock all of them at the push of a number plus they do not use the common CH751 key so I might even be keeping most out.

About the only thing I dislike is the window over the head of the bed. Noisy when open and cool when it's cold out. Also makes it harder to recline in bed and read although I found a metal grill that I hung on hooks so I can still get to the emergency exit.

We love everything about our 2005 Signature. If I had to find something to complain about it would be the amount of bay storage you lose due to the AquaHot and the tag axle. My Allegro Bus had a lot of storage but did not have these two options. Would I give up either one? NEVER!

We were going to order this MH so we could eliminate the dual pane windows but let the good deal we got dissuade us.

The frame less windows I've seen are a poor design, The outer pane seals up against the outside of the motor home, while the inner pane is attached to the mechanism that moves the windows in and out........so when you close them, the inner frame is essentially pulling against the outer window. Very poor. I have dual pane frame windows in my 04 Revolution. Dual panes are a waste, when they get foggy, I'll replace them with single panes that more and more companies are doing......the insulation factor is about the same, and no more foggy windows. Look at that BIG single pane window you have across the front (the windshield), you actually think you're gaining much by having dual windows. Besides, motor homes are not the best insulated homes anyway.

You like a motorhome with NO slides?

It has a very roomy living/kitchen area with the single slide deployed.

Full size walk around queen bed without a slide in the bedroom.

Sometimes "less is more".

I agree, to bad we can't identify what MH is being referenced. Some good comments but of limited use.

This is our first motor home, 03 Fleetwood Discovery with 3 slides. After having it now since 05 here is what I don't like or wish was different.
I hate the toilet being in a separate space with a door. So small. We are actually going to try and remove part of the wall to open it up but not sure if we can because it may be a support wall and there's another door separating the back of the coach that is on that wall. I would also love a King size bed, a shower to the floor. Outside compartment doors to open up sideways not up, a residential refrigerator, a food pantry, heated tile floor, better insulation in the walls.
