OP, do you still have the Lazy Daze C? Will you have a toad? Are you into boondocking? Will you have a generator? Do you now have a Class A?
One mistake of first retires is to rush around the country instead of picking an area/region for the two months.
We are three weeks into a two month trip out West without any reservations other than the Albuquerque ballon fest next month. Our favorite public CGs are those that do not take reservations... first come but DO NOT show up Friday.
We are doing CA this trip having arrived in South Lake Tahoe yesterday without reservations. Snagged three days in their city CG across from the lake in a HUGE site. Notice we showed up at the end of the long holiday having traveled to the area Sunday. Spent Sun night at the gas station east of Reno... $200 later having come from the Tetons.
