Spartan Chassis Recall received today!

If you have any concerns that your chassis might be included in the recall (and/or that you may or may not receive notification in the mail), you can call Spartan (517.543.6400) and give them the VIN number for your chassis and they'll be able to tell you if you're included in the campaign.

I'm the second owner of a 2003 Dutch Star on a Spartan chassis and would expect that mine would come under the same recall if it is not limited to specific chassis by serial number. Guess I'll just wait a little while and see what comes in the mail. If nothing shows up I may have to call Spartan and see what's going on with mine.

No the letter is dated May 2 and has my vin # listed. Maybe only certain chassis have this potential problem.

I didn't find any recalls newer than 2000 for Spartan. Does the notice say anything else?
