Splendide Combo Washer gasket

We have an older (probably 2003) model Splendide washer/dryer combo.
There is a filter assembly on the right front corner.

It is model W802. Splendide 2000
The gasket is bad and I need a new one.

Apparently they don't make this part anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can get the gasket like an o-ring.

We have tried gaskets we got at Home Depot but they don't quite fit right and there is a little leakage.

There have to be some salvage units somewhere.

  • The O-Ring on my 1994 Splendide combo filter is an "O" ring. Check out Westland and if you need a direct phone number and contact information let me know and I will dig it out. They are super and very knowledgeable. They have always been able to walk me through a resolution to the few issues I have had.
  • Flat o-rings are called quad rings. They are available from most industrial supply stores. In my area one is called "Seal and Packing" another is called "Bearing Specialty". You can google quad rings and work from there.
  • When I needed parts for my Splendide washer dryer combo I was able to get them from www.westlandsales.com Hope this helps. Don

    Thanks Crasstar

We only found paper type gaskets at Auto Zone. Ours is rubber and similar to an o-ring but flat

Probably flat because its worn out.

  • What type of gasket? You can go to autozone and get gasket compound and paper gaskets. They have even huge rolls of raw gasket material where you can cutout your own gasket.
  • Most major cities have gasket stores. Take the old one with you and ask them to match it up for you. Most likely something odd that home stores wont stock.
