Splendide washer legends

I do sheets all of the time. Can wash both at the same time, but always dry separately. Takes 70 minutes to dry - usually do these at night using the timer delay. So one sheet one night, the other the second night. Not a big deal, no longer than doing a couple of pairs of jeans and T-shirts. The key is to balance the load (2 pairs of jeans, 2 T-shirts; 2 large bath towels; etc.) and to do smaller loads. I also use the blue bibbed balls to help separate clothes as they dry.

The pods have a 'dissolvable' plastic covering that might get caught in the filter and, as already mentioned, contain way to much detergent for the w/d combo.

Thhose pods are actually too much detergent for a Splendide load. 1-2 tablespoons of detergent is all that is needed and prevents other issues. The washer is extremely efficient.

Exactly. Its not a race. As fulltimers we use ours daily and have for 10 years. Very rarely we use park facilities.

On our Splendide (we have the separate washer and dryer), where you put in the detergent, there might be another little handle/plastic piece to pull out that will show you the diagram on where the detergent goes. Our washer has it and I didn't find it for a while. The plastic piece would cover the detergent holder when opened.

I don't care how long my 2100xc takes to dry or wash. I'm not in a race. It is just much better than a coin op and I do sheets in mine also. But just one king at a time. Oh no, it takes all day to do two sheets? Yep, but see the first sentence above.

Yeah often they run on 120V or 12V. Not a lot of power compared to a 220V home dryer.

Don't expect it to dry as fast as your in home dryer!! Plus, the more clothes the longer it takes. We sometimes run ours when we're driving.
Always small loads and never sheets!!
