washing machine all use the same hoses buy a pair at lowes home depot etc and no they sure as heck don't need to be 8 ft long unless for some reason someone put the supply taps a long ways away
you can buy steel braided 5 ft ones on amazon for 15$ each
My 2003 Splendide used a hose that had metric threads on the washer end. US hoses would not fit that machine.
