Sprinter Recall.

Just saw on Google News that there is a recall on All Sprinter vans manufactured from Feb. 14 2014 to Nov. 21 2014.

Fire danger due to oil leaking onto chain tensioner gasket that may drip down on hot engine parts.

    Its not actually on them all. Go to the MB recall site, Here , enter your VIN, and they'll tell you. My understanding is that the recall is on the 4-cylinder models.

    Good info. The news report indicated all vehicles so they were a bit offbase on facts. Figues.:R

    Thanks for the alert, we had not received any information about it yet. Just curious if anyone else received any direct advisory from Mercedes, cuz we sure didn't.

    Hmmm...put in our Vin #, and it doesn't indicate that we're in the recall. Must be some other detail, or a mistake. Will advise if we learn of another detail!
