Sprinter Towing

I have a 2013 Class B+ on a Sprinter Chassis with an 11000 pound GVW. I am considering towing a car on a car dolly. The car and the dolly weigh about 4000 pounds.. I have a 5000 pound hitch.

I am concerned that my 188hp diesel may not be up for this task.

Also, how would this effect my coaches performance.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

    ours it the 3500 chassis tag says #3500 towing I pull a bass boat and the daughter tows a 12ft box trailer she,s loaded to about the limit ours is a 5cyc engine and tows great from ohio to AZ .but I think your at the top end of towing.

    how much do they rate your sprinter to tow? sounds to me like you will be pushing it. the lack of towing capacity was what turned me off from the sprinter chassis but think the newer ones did get kicked up to 5000 lbs.???
