Squealing furnace fan motor?
Furnace Squealing noise on start up. Last internmently for about 20 seconds or so. Suggestions?

The fan motors have BUSHINGS, not bearings. Though access can be a little tricky, you can put a couple of drops of non-detergent light viscosity oil (like sewing machine oil) on each end of the shaft and let it wick in.
