Squealing furnace fan motor?
Furnace Squealing noise on start up. Last internmently for about 20 seconds or so. Suggestions?

To stop mine I had a little side to side movement on the motor shaft and the squirrel fan on one side was hitting the housing. I just loosened one of the squirrel cage fans and pushed both fans towards each other ( on mine there was a fan on each end of the motor) and retighten the loosened fan. Mine was an attwood furnace.
