Haven't used ours on 30 amp yet but, they are great on 50 amp. Remember, if you don't have hookups, the water must drain into the gray tank. Some folks like to run a load while traveling to new destinations. If we do a load every other day it only takes an hour or so for wash and another hour or so for dry depending on the material etc. Don't have to wait by the machines like a laundromat. DW sort of overloaded the washer a couple of times and clothes didn't spin adequately. Was simple to put through on another spin cycle. Probably want to avoid overloading for other reasons though.
