On my Coachmen, I rotated the Marquis 7KW down so the top cover could be removed to replace the starter. I put a floor jack under the front edge of the bottom pan, loosened, but did not remove, the two rear mounting bolts, and then removed the remaining bolts before lowering the jack to tilt the generator down. On my setup, the wiring and fuel line are installed with enough slack so they did not need to be disconnected. The exhaust is only connected to the generator, so it just tilted down with the rest of the unit. The actual starter replacement only took a few minutes.
