Stay in Key West or Outside area RV. Park.
Looking to stay in the Florida Keys in March. Would it be better to stay outside Key West or right down their with the crowds. This is if we can even get a spot. Thanks in advance. Pogoil.

I see that Blue Water Key prices range from $77-$133 a night (cash/check), more for CC.
In comparison, recently (August), I tried to book in Newport Beach, CA, at the Newport Dunes RV Resort and they wanted over $300 a night (in season). I was so turned off by the gouging that I said no, kept the motorhome in storage and we stayed at the Pelican Hill Resort Hotel, which we always wanted to try anyway. And, we had a good experience.
So, Blue Water Key looks like it would be a nice splurge to check out the area. The prime locations sure do seem to charge the max.
