If you ever get around to installing a rear trac bar, be sure to replace "AT THE SAME TIME" the stock rear stabilizer bar with a heavy duty version. On my 2007 E350 chassis, they needed to be installed together for I believe they shared mounting points or something like that.
It seems people who do one or some, but not all the upgrades typically mentioned for the suspension, later learn that under "other" conditions, what they have done so far has proven to be inadequate. If you later realize you still have a handling problem, consider the full deal, some of which you have already addressed.
- heavy duty front & rear stabilizer bars - heavy duty shocks - heavy duty front steering stabilizer - rear trac bar - wheel alignment done with the rig loaded ready for a trip.
And as always, make sure your tire pressure is correct for your particular load.
I have a lot of respect for Hendersons Line Up in Grants Pass Oregon. They use the Safe-T-Plus "140" series, silver in color, for Class C's. The unit is enough larger than the OEM Damper, so installing one calls for their bracket kit, NOT included with the Stabilizer itself. I use "Damper" to refer to OEM-types, which are horizontally-mounted shock absorbers. A "Stabilizer" has Damping PLUS coil springs that push the steering toward center. There's another device, Steer-Safe, that uses springs on brackets out at the ends of the axle. Those provide Centering only, but you can leave the OEM Damper in place. Roadmaster has "Reflex" which is a Damper/Stabilizer similar to Safe-T-Plus. It uses one push/pull spring for centering while S-T-P uses two opposing ones. The S-T-P seems to be the favored unit.
Click on the links in my previous post. "j-d" discusses the benefits of the Safe-T-Plus for the stabilizer. In the 2nd link in my previous post I list the products by name, part number, and CW link:
