Many epoxies form and amine blush which causes secondary bonding issues. This can be removed with water and a scotch brite pad or similar.
If the blush is heavy and not removed, subsequent layers of epoxy will have no mechanical or chemical bond.
Many epoxies which claim they are blush free, are not, in more humid conditions. This blush, if not removed, might cause any caulking to not bond, or even to cure properly where in contact with the blush.
I applaud your foresight in sealing the wood inside the roof. Many like to use OSB instead of real plywood for the internal supports of the fiberglass roof, which is a shame as OSB is worse than useless once it gets wet.
