Didn't those original "converters" pull in the new digital stations, you know 8.1 / 13.3 / 29.4 ???
And then the television was set on channel 2 or 3 only. Then when changing channels, you used the remote to the converter box. The television always stayed on channel 2 or 3. Sound was controlled by the television remote. Stations were controlled by the converter remote.
If this is your current set up, you can scan the television all you want, and you'll never get the digital stations on the television. Your best bet is to try a newer television and skip the converter. If you have one in your house, bring it to the camper, plug in the coax directly, and re-scan just like you would in your house. If you get television stations, there-in is your problem. Get a new television that has no dependency on the old external converters.
