Insigna is a mixed bag. Some of the products with that label are made by LG (Lucky Goldstar a Korean who in my not very humble opinion makes LOUSY GOODS, had way too many fail).
With the Sensar Pro you need to run the GAIN up to 20. I think that is the next to the last option in the menu (Gain then Volume of the beeper for aiming then OFF). Also adding the wingman to the sensar pro.
IF the unit is old .. One thing that happned to me at around 10 years is all Signals were lost I mean ZIP, Nada.
From the Sensar Pro (if properly wired) a coax runs up to the roof. no farther. then there is a connector it may stick up near or through the antenna mount covered in caulking or it may be buried under a "Clamshell" as mine was.
I replaced the connector and the ends on both the Sensar Pro to roof and the Roof to Antenna Head cables. Also the connector at the antenna.. I use water proof COMPRESSION fittings instead of the cheap crimp on's and have had no problems since. I'd guess those three connections (Roof and head) are the likely the #1 "It dont work" suspects. THe performance with new connectors was 100% up to spec. in fact with the sensar pro (Which was not part of my RV) more like 400% Spec.
