I note that Winnebago and Itasca have this feature. The basement compartments under the slide go out with the slide, so one does not have to crawl under to access the compartments. I haven't noticed...

When I was looking, one of my requirements was that the storage compartments were not attached to the slide. I did not like putting all that weight under the slide and I wanted pass through storage.
