Strange things happening with my ECC

I recently made a thread asking how to turn on only ONE of my AC's. Still trying to figure that out....

However, with a twist of irony, for what seems to be no reason at all, my ECC has now decided to NOT turn on the 2nd AC. It's been in "shed" mode all afternoon even though I currently want it on.

In addition to this, night time temps are getting low enough to want to turn on the furnace, but my furnace won't start. The blower never comes on. The last time I tried it was a few months ago to test it before I bought it, and it worked then. Now I hear a click, and a green light on the furnace circuit board comes on, but the blower never starts.

Could these two issues some how be related?
  • Well no dice with the furnace. I tried the reset switch on the furnace as well.

I don't think it's the thermostat because when I turn the heater on, and turn the temperature dial up on my ECC, I can hear a click from the furnace and a green LED comes on from the furnace circuit board. So it appears to be getting a signal from the thermostat
  • Well I unplugged from shore power and then hit the battery disconnect switch, waited for a bit, and then turned everything back on. It works on my router when my internet dies, so I figured it worth a shot. Both ACs are turning on again! Now I'm just gonna let then run and get it nice and cold, and then try the furnace.

Unfortunately, Richard, that is not the same model of ECC that I have. Mine does not have individual control over each AC.
  • I would suspect the thermostat for your furnace problem and possibly your AC problem. Move the Heat-Cool switch back and forth a few times to clean the contacts. To prevent the second compressor from coming on, you can shut off that breaker. Do both compressors work with the generator?
