Sully, biggest problem I have is room to turn a wrench on my LF3000 filter.
I use a 1/2" strap wrench over sandpaper. I fasten the ratchet wrench at the bottom of the strap connector (upside down)and below the filter to have room to break the filter loose. Then I turn it off with my gloved hand.
The next problem is removing the filter full of warm oil through the only pathway without spilling oil. I put flattened cardboard boxes below the engine to protect the concrete driveway from spills.
