Strap wrenches and fuel filters...GGGRRRRRRRR

you can get a heavy duty filter wrench at Napa for heavy duty engines like we have on our coaches. They are manufactured by Danaher and are about four inch wide strap metal. You use a ratchet with a ten inch extension, apply a small rag between the oil filter and the metal wrench to prevent slippage and it works perfect.. You can get them for around thirty dollars, give or take. On a Caterpillar engine you do not have much room to use some of the chain wrenches mentioned by some here in this forum. And the regular small auto filter wrench just are too small. Best to get the proper tool right away and it will last you a life time.
