Time to switch the fuel filters on my old rig. Fine fuel filter and a water/fuel separator filter. I tried my bad type strap wrenches. 30 minutes later I didnt even have 1 filter broke loose. Loo...

So I get a phone call about 5 PM....and its my wrench calling..?? He asks me do I still need him to get that filter off? ( After about 5 minutes of back and forth dialog) He got the impression I needed him still.
He shows up at 5:30 and has a BIG and wrench and a set of channel locks that were so large ya couldnt carry them....he had to drag them along....:B
He sits down and wipes the filter off to clean it and puts that El Humogo set of channel locks on it and with everything he had he got it to budge! I remarked..."Tight aint it"...:B He said he didnt remember installing it that tight...and I again said...its just as you ...YOU installed it.
Anyway, after about 20 minutes both filters were off and new ones filled and installed and we fired Old Gertrude up and she purred like a Cummins ( wasnt about to say kitten...i.e. cat..:B
Im still waiting on my filter wrench to come in but will also have a set of those Mongo Mongo channel locks around for just some things. ( Aint gonna be NO screwdrivers runs thru any filter I got to mess with !!)
