Is there a check engine light on? That can cause it to drop mileage because something us up, and it puts a code on the computer.
Stop by a couple of auto parts stores and see if one will offer the use of a code reader out in the parking lot. That will tell you if something like spark plug #5 is not working or something. . .
What about a locking gas cap? It is difficult to get fuel out of a RV but you did say it was parked for a while. Someone might be thinking that you have 80 gallons and will not miss much. . . Some have even taken a huge knife and cut into the side of the RV fuel tank and put a bucket under it. When the bucket is full, the rest ends up on the driveway. . . I hope that has not happened.
Check the oil. Does it smell like gasoline? If so, then don't drive it, have a mobile mechanic or friend change it in your driveway. Not likely but possible.
Normally these engines last a long time. What mileage do you have on it now?
