I have no problem with the ride. I did to start with, but after talking to them, they sent me different cushions to get a little space, then they were great. I carry a tool box that is pretty heavy, so in order to get some space above the timbren's it took a different size. With the trailer on, it supports the weight to prevent sagging, and that is what I wanted. I don't notice it being rough over bumpy roads like some complain of, but it is a truck, I don't expect Cadillac rides.
