Sun coming in skylights

Hi Everyone!
There is a skylight right over my bed in my Coachman Freelander. What is the best covering to put over the skylight so that the bright sunlight doesn't blind me every morning. I've seen the Maxair things. Are they good, do they work?

The best and cheapest thing is the Vent Pillow from Camping World.

We have one in EVERY vent. If that is not dark enough, cut a square of cardboard on top of the pillow.

What Freelander do you have? I have had two of them. A 28QB and a 29QB. Is your shower in the bedroom? If so, I have solution for that too.

We have a 21QB, so no "bedroom" per se. The bathroom is beside the bedroom.
  • I have ordered vent pillows. Thanks so much for all your help!

Good. Looks like you have a wall around the BR.

Where in Texas are you. We're in north Dallas.

Let the sun shine, the day is coming all too soon when I won't see it any more.

I use these as well, plus they insulate in both the warm and cold weather.
  • I sprayed that black rubberized sealant on the outside of the vent over my bunk. Works great! Plenty of light comes in elsewhere in the unit.
