Sounds like you dropped the Phantom from your short list. The Forest River Twins are scoring a lot of points these days.
Class A has more storage and a nicer vista from the driver seat. Unless you like the shade the Class C overhang like some of us do. The vista from parked is better with A for sure. You can wear the Class A Smirk.
Class C is easier to service and repair. Parts and tires, let alone the windshield, are less expensive and more readily available. Less height if that's important. But wider turning circle. Easy in and out of cockpit while traveling. Chassis is more to industry and safety standards. A C is far safer in a crash than most A's.
That split level floor plan lets you get in and out of cockpit and cabover more easily than a full basement plan with high floor all the way forward. Just be sure it isn't a tripping hazard for anybody in your specific crew.
