Well we just traded off the 2007 Sunseeker 2860DS to a Bounder 34T. We bought it used and we never did have any complaints about it. We hosted for three months but we were only 90 miles from home for one month then 40 for the last two, so going home wasn't a big deal. I think the SS was listed at 31 feet. Was it a little cramped at times, yes, but doable. We never did kill each other. We too like the state/national parks so I get where you are coming from.
The two biggest complaints was weight distribution and trying to keep enough forward. My rear was always about 300-500 pounds over. That and the turning radius of the E-450 is about the same as an aircraft carrier. The 35 foot Bounder turns WAY shorter. But I still am running rear weights near maximum.
Overhead clearance on the class C was lower. When someone follows me in the campground now there is shouts about a drunk driver and parents rush to gather their children.
We don't require a lot of stuff with us so the SS storage was fine. I think your bedroom is laid out the same and the clothes storage is good. We converted the rear closet with wire shelf for random less used things.
Good luck.
