super c vs class a, diesel both

we are looking at buying a super c when we came across the 550 ford. four winds, I like that one better cause its not so big. my wife liked it to. we are truck camper people. but I have 9 yrs to retire, from the bnsf railway. and we want more room to travel, but also keep our truck camper and 3500 ram. for camping. I would sure appreciate any info on the f550 6.7 and transmission. only cause ive only owned Cummings engines ?

    the 6.7 diesel is Ford built after years of an unhappy relationship with Navistar that made Ford's diesel all the way back to the 6.9 to the last 6.4...the 6.0 diesel had problems and huge warranty payouts.. after saying that ...the 6.7 had turbo issues ..that is all I have heard so far on the diesel.
