A super single tire does not mean or is not just a wide tire like cement trucks or or heavy equipment haulers used on the front axles for years where duals wouldn't fit or work to carry heavier weights. Super singles are also lower profile tires to cut down on wind resistance and the weight of the tire and rim.
It's worthwhile to convert a high mileage truck but you'd never break even on fuel savings vs new rims and tires on a low mileage MH. Also possibly having to change your rear end ratio because the tires have a smaller diameter.
