Surge protectors
Are they really necessary? I just purchased a new 2014 MH, with the LED TV's and DVD players, and other electronics I am thinking about the addition of a surge protector.....but is it really neceaa...

Other Brands/models are out there BUT they only have a 1 year warranty. And pricing is about the same :S
Yup I'm another satisfied customer who can confirm Progressive Industries "LIFE TIME WARRANTY" and how they take care / treat their customers!
My then 4 or 5 years old EMS-PT50C was having trouble reading / motoring the incoming power. Called Progressive, after a few questions, they instructed me to send the unit in. Within a week, they returned my unit back to me working as it should!
After which, as I find myself in locations / situations where the protection is extremely important / valuable to have between the power source and the Eagle. I purchased a second EMS-PT50C as a back up so I won't be without the protection.
At present I invested in two portable units, so I guess you can say that "I'm a satisfied customer"! ...
