Fair enough. You wouldn't have a generator? You would have enough solar juice to power aircon when no shore power? Would the compressor fridge be quieter and less trouble than the absorption type? Would solar power adequately supply your fridge too?

Of course I would have a generator also. I could definitely get by without a propane refrigerator. I have been thinking about a Provan Tiger RV soon and I see they also only use 2-way compressor refrigerators now. It seems to be an industry trend.
