Sacs and others. Bluebird front engine motorhomes until 1987 did not come with swing out rads. But some owners made their own kit and others bought an aftermarket kit. One owner even had some fancy quick couplers for the upper rad hose. The bottom hose was a flex hose and long enough to open up the rad. Our 1987 Bluebird had a factory swing out rad but it only opened about 25 degrees. Still enough to change a fan belt from the front. However the grill opening has to be large enough to swing the rad. I doubt on any Cat Motorhome that this would be possible. But wouldn't it be amazing to just open it up. One could change a fan bearing in an hour or so! As for cleaning the rad: Instead of using a pressure washer which could easily damage the rad. How about using one of those solvent sprayers( but using Dawn and water) with an air pressure regulator? Fire Up: The BB's with the 3208 and a swing rad are not pushers. They are front engine. There was one model of BB that used a 3208 in a pusher configuration. It was a rear rad but you could hold a party in the engine compartment. You could open up the drivers side rear compartment and climb into the engine compartment. Nothing like Fleetwood or Winnie!
