Wildbill: Please provide us with ACCURATE kinks stating that synthetic has a better detergent. When did anyone ever have a problem due to coking? These are RV's not mining equipment. Almost none of us have ever had an engine problem due to bad lubrication. None of us really put on enough miles to have any excessive wear on our engines. You won't find synthetic oil used by any MAJOR trucking company. Some of them get to 1 million miles and more with 25000 plus change intervals and GOOD dino oil. RV'rs are always spending $$ on useless things. BUT with a C7 you cannot extend your change interval so you are spending big$$ on oil that has to be changed at around 7000 miles???? Irf I lived in Alaska or had a truck that was used in the winter in Northern Canada and parked it outside I would use synthetic for the ability to easily start. Otherwise it is a marketing ploy when it comes to RV's. But heck it's your money!
