I am surprised someone hasn't suggested Amsoil which is what I use in my 1999 MH (95,000 miles) and change every 10,000 miles. I also use it in my 2001 Honda Odyssey (217,000 miles)which I also change every 10,000 miles. In 2002 I had a 1999 Bounder with a V10 and I drove from Texas to Alaska and back 11,500 miles without changing oil because I was using Amsoil.
I have been very satisfied using Amsoil in my engines, but like others here, I would suggest continuing with the oil Ford recommends until your warranty runs out. Then Amsoil with their filters could be used and you can run 10,000 miles between changes.
