Does anyone take kayaks with them when traveling in a Class A? If so, where to you transport them? Currently, we have a rack on top of the truck. This is one of our favorite things to do when we are traveling across country or at the local lakes near Branson, Missouri.Thanks John

Usually on the toad--at least that's what we did.

Check my profile and you can see what we do. That picture was taken at Beaver Lake. I have done all the rivers in north AR. My favorite is the Buffalo. I have Kayaked it from end to end.

We aren't in a Class A, but we have a 5'er. We just invested in a SeaEagle 370, 3 person/650 lb limit. It's rated to Class III rapids, but I'm not sure I want to give that a test. We use ours on mostly still water lakes or slightly flowing rivers.

We recently purchased a Wilderness tandem kayak and are having a blast with it. Honda makes a kayak roof rack for CR-V's and, aside from the tie-down straps being uselessly too short, it's working out well.

Check my profile and you can see what we do. That picture was taken at Beaver Lake. I have done all the rivers in north AR. My favorite is the Buffalo. I have Kayaked it from end to end.
