Lowe's and Home Depot both require you to have a military ID or a VA ID or a copy of your DD-214 before they give the discount. I'll NEVER carry my DD-214 with me, but have seriously though about copying it and shrinking the copy down to fit my billfold. Wonder if they'd squalk about that?
