It would imply safer for the same reason new homes are required to be wired by licensed electricians, plumbed by licensed plumbers and that construction is overseen by building inspectors. No one intentionally builds anything with the intent to make it dangerous, yet everyone knows someone who dove into a remodeling project and found extension cords used for interior wall wiring, pennies in place of fuses and 20 amp breakers replaced by 30s because the breakers kept tripping.

No one intentionally builds something unsafe, they just don't know any better. When I was a kid, I remember my parents replacing a blown fuse with a penny. They didn't mean to start that house fire...

I doubt the 2x4s used to frame weigh any more than a full busload of high school students. And yes, odds are that this has less of a chance of malfunctioning and causing damage than some of the mass produced garbage with the RVIA sticker. If I were driving a conversion like that, I certainly wouldn't be offended if a park owner wanted to inspect before allowing me to hook up.

I still don't like it much though heheh. Then again, I don't like the Prevost bunk house coaches either.

Criticizing someone for criticizing someone else is kinda funny though.

I would bet this thig is built to a better quality than most of what rolls out of the assembly line. I would bet less home built RV catch fire than assembly line RV. I know it took me about a year to get the problems fixed on my new motor home. After several trips back to the dealer I fixed it myself. If I ever get a different motorhome it will be a home built or a rebuild proect. I am done with paying the RV idustry big money for poor quality.

Noticed the Dayton wheels, spokes.......not good. Nice work but a very personal type of vehicle.

Interesting they chose to keep the OE 900 or 1000x 20 tube type tires and rims...note; tube type tires and rims not able to convert without changing the entire axle assemblies.

After being a part time school bus driver for 50+ years I wouldn't look forward to travelling in one. That has to weigh a lot with all those 2X4s they used for framing. Have they been to a scale?

Not what I'd want but it did get on TV.
