Maybe some of y'all experienced and mechanical types should start a service. Say, $100 for a complete and thorough inspection - road test, walk-around, and overnight at a campground. This service would include a complete, comprehensive report.

There is already such a service. And has been for decades. It's the same kind of thing that there is for boats. And it's around $300 for a thorough inspection of an RV.
