"That's what insurance is for" is a logical response. But what most overlook is the big hit the poster might get due to a filed claim. My wife was envolved in a accident ( not her fault) with our new car. Our insurance company fixed it to a cost of $18,000. We took the hit as our insurance "doubled" the next cycle.
Had I new we were going to be responsible for this I would have obtained a lawyer and sued the other driver for a new car, not making the claim. If it were me I'd get a copy of the police report and any correspondence, contact my lawyer and have them work it out with the dealer. After all they were negligent in securing the MH. The catch is most dealers get you to sign a document when dropping off your RV which probably states that they wouldn't be responsible for these things. The legality of thm upholding it is another story.
That is why most people take the easy way out ... " that's what insurance is for"
