We dropped our LHS off at the dealer. It was stolen off their lot. The insurance company paid us, and then sued the dealer to recover their cost.
They are responsible for providing a safe and secure location for the vehicle while in their care Regardless of any signs they may have posted to the contrary.
This may sound strange but I believe home owners is the policy that will actually cover the cost of personal items stolen from inside your vehicle, call your agent.
