As someone who has worked for a medium size RV dealer for 35 years, I can state that the service facility is liable for the theft. They left the door unlocked. BUT, as someone who has seen scores of theft/vandalism at our facility over the years, IF the RV has visible damage that resulted in entry to the RV, the dealer is NOT responsible. If there is NO damage that resulted from entry to the RV, indicates that the door was left unlocked and that means reasonable care was NOT taken even if you have a fenced locked dealership. We do NOT offer to pay the deductible, we cover it from our side, either our insurance or out of pocket. MOST business's will have either $5000 or $10,000 deductible, so if the repairs are less than that it comes out of the dealerships pocket. Doug
