You're a few years ahead of me but I'm from Oregon and am of like mind for sure. These winters are getting to be a bit much for us and we're going to be heading south in the winter pretty soon. I've spent a fair amount of time in Las Vegas and while it's not bikini weather in the winter it's A LOT nicer than the Pacific NW. Mainly, it's just much drier and the temps are a lot more manageable. Palm Springs sounds nice but I'm not much of a California fan either. I suppose I'll start exploring AZ if I get too cold in Las Vegas. The cost of living in Las Vegas is also nice, assuming you don't put your savings in the slot machines :)
