Thinking going Class A

Trying to do some research on Class A motor homes - we will be first time owners - currently have a 5th wheel. I would appreciate your pros & cons of a Class A. What kind of maintenance issues can we expect & which ones are known to be of quality built. Not looking for one over $200,00.00 tho - but the ones who have a better reputation for as good a construction that can be expected for a motor home. Thanks for your opinions.
  • I have a great 06 Tiffin Phaeton for sale at half the price you quote.

  • We bought fromOBO who was selling do to health issues. Think about a used high end coach. $200,000 will buy a real nice coach. Spend time on the net and you will find all sorts of info. I would buy a brand that is still alive and well. Look at American Coach and Tiffin. Tiffin has a great network run by owners and they have an area on it that has units for sale by owners. TRVN.Com. AC also has a place that offers used ones for sale by owner. When we looked I only wanted to purchase it once, spend your time and research it well. Took us two years but we are very happy. A Diesel will always cost more to own but if you use it six months a year you will enjoy the difference. Go to TRVN and ask questions. Members there will gladly help. Good luck with your purchase. • If you are looking for a $100,000 coach, you might as well be looking at the Beavers and Country Coach that are only about 6-8 years old. You will buy higher end coach for a reduced price.

Foretravel is top of the line, Blue Bird's Wanderlodge is also top of the line.

Check out RvSearch.com for many RV's for sale.

    Good luck,

    Fred.
