True story... several years ago my wife's grandfather had passed away and we were traveling from NC to Alabama for the services. Her cousin made reservations and gave us an address to go to. After 11 hours on the road, and VERY tired, we arrived at the motel only to find that it was one of those cheap roadside no-tells. We asked to look at the room and inside was a very similar description, including hand-carving on the headboard. We quickly decided to leave and drove another hour to find a hotel....in an area we found out the next day was one of the ghetto areas of Birmingham....well know for its high crime rate. Yeah...REALLY glad we have our coach!!
