The quote above reminds me of a story that went around during the early sixties about one of our south Texas ranchers, that after owning a series of Cadillac's over the years decided to buy a Rolls Royce. After a few days of driving it, he was so impressed that he wrote a letter to the president of Rolls stating the various attributes of the auto. He concluded his letter stating that at 60 miles per hour all he could hear was the soft, gentle ticking of the dash board clock. Within a couple of days he received a personal reply from Rolls stating, our apologies sir, we will replace that clock.
My apologies to those I offended with my statement on Thor. The above quote is so true and I'm willing to admit that I might be being a hard on Thor, especially since I'm reviewing the purchase, the factory damage, both in slide, body and coach, that was allowed to pass through their "quality" control, in hind sight. I just expected better. Actually, I'm far more irritated with myself for getting in too big a hurry and not seeing the damage. Good case of "the hurrier I go, the behinder I get and that's the price ya' pay".
