Hello All,
We purchased a 2015 Thor 33SW Fourwinds on Nov. 21st. We looked at a couple of used super C's, a Freightliner and a Gulfstream DynaMax. They were heavier duty rigs but looked dated and tired. On our trip home from Orlando(150 miles) the rear tires front mudflaps had rubbed against the tires and were worn away. The first thing I did was to replace them with aluminum diamond plate. Looks cool and works. I then went to install air horns. When I drilled thru the fiberglass nose water started running out. It was enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket by 2/3rds. I drilled a 3 inch hole from the inside as an inspection scuttle and since have seen no water. A fuse blew on the Magnum autogenstart. We took it to the dealer and it took the tech 2 hours and a phone call to Thor to diagnose. I should have diagnosed the problem if I had only checked the fuse holder coming from the house batteries. I will keep fixing and improving all the glitches.
