Thanks for making this post. Just picked up a new 2014 33SW yesterday and drove from Texas to Kansas. The thing handles like a sports car compared to my old class A gas. Like everyone else I had trouble fueling it. Tried 3 separate times to get the front tank and went 0 for 3. Rear tank was slow but worked. Need to look at the vents.
Lots of good ideas here that I'll be working on as soon as the weather breaks. For now it's in storage. couple questions for you all.
1 it rained the whole way home and most of the storage compartments have taken on water. Is this common? These should be sealed from the elements IMO.
2 I was a little surprised to see only 8-8.5 mpg. Now I was pretty motivated and running 70-75 but that was a little lower than expected. The trip started with 1400 miles on the rig. Is it just still breaking in?
Thanks!
Eric
Luckily, I havent had any storage compartment issues. I do occasionally get some water coming in near the base of the slide out when I've washed it. Nothing major though. Though I havent tried drilling holes in the nose to see if water comes out :)
