Thank you so much for responding!
1. I also think my batteries are shot. And by the way, just so you know, I've had a couple of instances where the batteries don't charge on shore power, turns out there is a TINY little breaker under the bed that will cause this. I'll follow up this post with a picture of the breaker so you will know where it is. I am going to go pick up a pair of new batteries tomorrow (stinks they are dead after a year) and will see if this resolves the issue.
2. The generator auto start, I've checked the dials. I have the huge manual for it in PDF form, and have gone through it back and forth. What I'm saying, it will begin to start, you can hear the starter engage, but then it quits instantly. So there's something keeping it from cranking, but since I can start it from the control panel on the bathroom wall, I have no clue what it might be. I'm going to look into this some more tomorrow, I won't have time to today.
3. I'm good on this. I did have that tiny breaker pop a couple of times and it threw me as to what the problem was.
4. Overheating. I was going through Bobcat Pass out of Red River, NM going toward Eagle Pass, NM. It's a steep climb. I had around 7,000 of trailer behind me through the pass. All the buzzers and blinking lights went off on the dash, and the temperature gauge was PEGGED to the right. It wasn't a situation where it was running a little warm, it was HOT. After about 10 seconds with the gauge pegged, the engine's fan clutch finally engaged and pulled the temps down. This is not how it should operate, in my experience.
I need to call around to the dealerships around me to see who can accomodate the RV. Going to ask about the driveshaft moan while it is there. I looked at the diesel filler hoses yesterday and I can fix those myself. I also looked at my front jacks, and mine are within a pinkie depth from hitting the body, not at the bracket but at the main rod cap. I do not think I have room to move mine up any more than where they are now. I've been concerned about how low mine sit too.
