We purchased a 2015 Thor Super C 35SB a few months ago with the full paint package. We've had a few minor annoyances with the coach including - automatic step won't stay out when switched, water pump extremely loud, mud flaps have come loose and been eaten by tires, passenger side power mirror inoperable, and we had no antenna installed for the cab radio for some reason.
The warranty repair process itself could be a lot better process as the dealer has to have pictures of items, complete a write up and then submit everything to Thor for approval (which takes a few weeks) before any parts can be ordered or repairs can be started. Our dealer is about 45min away so to save time we took pictures and sent them to the dealer so they could submit for approval while we were still able to use it. We're still waiting on parts at this point but are hopeful to get things fixed shortly.
I just set up an appointment with Ford as well so they can diagnose a driveline noise. The noise only occurs if accelerating hard and is heard mid coach area. When towing our Jeep it seems to be worse. If you baby it from the start and after you get up to speed (load of engine) the noise goes away. As best as I can tell and from the research I've done online, I'm guessing it to be a carrier bearing or u-joint but as best as I can tell, we have no vibration which I know typically accompanies these type of failures. Kind of surprising considering we only have 5000 miles!!
My biggest complaint though and the primary reason for this post is, the full paint job on this coach is horrible. I'm curious if anyone else has similar thoughts as well if there is anything we can do to have it corrected. Dirt under the paint, overspray in a couple areas from one color transition to another, and the overall finish is just not impressive. This was an expensive upgrade and in my opinion should be a lot better but this is also our first coach so I'm not sure what all expectations we should have here ;)
Other than the above, we're really happy with the coach and happy we went diesel over gas especially out here in Denver.
